About the Department
The Department of Bengali was established in 2013 and Bengali has been taught since the very beginning. Now, we provide the candidates with courses like Honours & pass. We can proudly say that our Department is one of the largest amongst the others having almost One hundred students of all the three academic sessions of honours and pass. The history of execellence has been carried out by the Guest Teacher from begining of the College.
Now we have Dr. Pratyus Kumar Jana (HOD), Mrs. Namita Maity, Mrs. Sangita Sahu & Mrs. Anushree Maity Das Patra.
Many of our pass outs are now working as school teachers and journalist, some of them are working many non-government sectors. We are very proud of them and we discuss the welfare of the department.
We keep frequent contact with the guardians. We publish wall-magazine yearly. We also celebrate "freshers" and "Rabindra Jayanti" for the all over development of our students.
