IQAC

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Siddhinath Mahavidyalaya has emerged as a centre of learning experience with a difference. The College mainly caters the students coming from the rural areas of Purba Medinipur and Paschim Medinipur. The college was established with the noble initiative of Shri Nirmal Chandra Maity, National teacher and Retired Headmaster of Shyamsundarpur-Patna High School in 2013. At the very first days, the road ahead was bumpy, clouded with challenges. But now, we are striving hardly to elevate ourselves in the academic arena of Purba Medinipur. Our students are passing the university examinations with flying colours. Besides creating a good academic ambience, the college always embraces the ideas of discipline. The college has taken initiatives for application-oriented learning beyond the classroom teaching. Various career centric add-on/certificate courses are introduced in last few years. Nirmal Chandra Maity Memorial Central Library equipped with KOHA and departmental libraries are added advantages for academic pursuance of students. Seminars, workshops, extension lectures etc. on variegated topics are organised throughout the year to sustain the academic ambience. Principal of the college provides her sincere guidance to both the academic and administrative wings. She acts as the guardian of the beloved students. The dedicated and cordial teachers always try to keep themselves available to quench the thirst of the students. Even after college hours they delve into the academic as well as personal problems of students and guide themselves properly. During COVID-19 Pandemic crisis, teachers have tried their level best to be in touch with their students to relieve their psychological distress.
